Meet Our Founders

Toby Kemp has been in the transportation industry for over thirty years with Rajor Transportation. He enjoys country living, growing a garden, playing softball, pickleball, and tennis, as well as recreational time fishing, camping, and traveling off the beaten path to new places. He is a dad, friend, and mentor to several adult children and takes pride in being known as “Papa” to his grandchildren.

Kay Kemp is a retired educator of thirty-plus years. As a dedicated teacher, she impacted the lives of many young children and their families. Now that she is retired, Kay wears many hats as a farm animal caretaker, avid pickleball and tennis player, mom and friend to several adult children, and a seeker of new places to haul their camper to go fishing. The favorite hat she wears is that of being called “Meems” by her ten grandchildren.

A national fundraising event with Love’s Travel Stops inspired Toby and Kay to develop a foundation with the sole purpose of raising funds for local charities in the area. Trucking for a Cure-TN was established to distribute money directly to other non-profit organizations and organizations having no charitable programs of their own.
